Hi there,
Since approximately 0,5-1 Year now I'm having the issue, that gentle wake up won't activate with my daily alarm. Before that issue everything was working fine. I have found a post covering the same issue Gentle wake up not working for alarms - Google Nest Community, but turning off gentle wake up and turning it back on didn't do the trick for me. In summary I tried this:

To help us narrow down the issue, could you please try the following:
If your lights are also set up in the device maker’s app (e.g., Philips Hue, LIFX), are you able to control your lights through that app? This will help us determine if the issue might be specific to Google Home or a broader connectivity problem.
Please take a look on Use Gentle Sleep and Wake with your smart lights.
Lets try Unlink your lights from Google Home
Then lets try Schedule and control multiple lights with Routines.
