I’ve read through the documents and forums and followed all the steps, but my Nest Hub still does not make announcements. I can see the camera feed when someone rings, but there is no audio announcement. I need help with this.

This is all that Google Nest gives us for setting up "Visitor announcements" when your doorbell button is pressed. Both your doorbell and Nest Hub need to be in the same Google Nest "home/structure" and your Nest Hub must NOT be set to "Do not disturb".

For the first item, it says I could set up the doorbell in Google Home, but it didn’t work. I tried setting it up again in the Nest app itself. It appeared in the Google Home app, but I wasn’t able to access any settings there.
For the second item, I was able to turn on visitor announcements in the Nest app itself, but it didn’t direct me to the Home app as mentioned. This allowed me to at least see the camera on my display when it rings, but as mentioned, there were no audio announcements.
Additionally, in the Home app, Google Home recommends “try latest camera app experiences — get started.” However, every time I click on “Get Started,” it fails.

If you have a 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell, then its settings are only available in the Google Nest app UNLESS you "transfer" it to the Google Home app. There are separate reports from other customers in this forum indicating that at least some customers are unable to "transfer" their Nest Hello Doorbells to the Google Home app; here is one example: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Transferring-1st-Gen-Hello-Doorbell-fro.... This issue is NOT resolved.
I don't know why you are not getting audio announcements if you have set up "Visitor announcements". As I indicated in my earlier post, the only thing I can think of is if you have your Nest Hub set to "Do not disturb".

No, Do Not Disturb is not set.
Then there is no solution for this as I understand it. That is an answer too. Thanks for your help.
