Gmail doesn't integrate with Home

Why doesn't Gmail integrate with Home? It would be nice to see incoming mail on my nest displays.

I understand that Gmail, and in particular displaying incoming emails on nest displays, is not supported. I have submitted this as feedback to Google. I hope this ability will be added sometime in the future. Thanks and kudos for everyone's assistance.

The widget shows and works on my tablet. I want my inbox to show on my nest hub display.  I asked on my display and was told that opening emails is not supported on this device. Too bad... it seems that Google is missing another opportunity to increase functionality and usefulness.

Currently Nest Hub does not have the capability to support opening emails on it. I would recommend opening this request as a feature request on the Public Issue Tracker. Our teams are continuously working to provide the best experience with Google Smart Home Products. Your recommendations are very helpful in panning out the development road map.
