Google Ending Support for Google Nest Home Devices??

A friend asked for advice to buy some smart speakers.  I suggested Google of course.   I gave a review of all the various Google smart speakers, screened and non-screened.  She said she came here and saw that Google is ending support for their smart speakers and even said people were ranting about it on this forum.  I've gone thru 8 or 9 pages and don't see it.  Is this true?  Is Google ending support for their home line of smart devices?   I sure hope not!  I have 13 home devices.  Google keeps me on track during the day!

They effectively have already. The quality of the voice responses is very low now compared to previous years. I have four devices and they are just about useless now. There are links on these pages that just lead to "currently unavailable".

Not true! I have so many of the Google Nest Speakers and Displays.

I am planning to buy a new speaker for my office and am not even worried at all.

Google is selling them and supporting them so you have no reason to be concerned. 
Just let us know if you see something posted here or in the press that gives you any question about your smart devices.

JILLG but the quality has gotten much worse and that is expected from time to time with updates and changes but it gets sorted out after a while but this is porogressively getting worse with no solution

you advised someone to go with Google? Prepare for that friendship to end, because that is the worst advice ive heard in a long time.
