Thank you for contacting the Google Nest Community. I'm sorry you're having trouble with your Google Nest Hub Max. It sounds like your daily tasks aren't showing up on the screen, and the voice command isn't working well. I know this can be frustrating, but I'm here to help.
I'd like to ask you a few questions to gather more information about the concern and determine the best way to address it.
- When did the issue first occur?
- Which specific voice commands have you tried, and which ones are failing to get a response?
In the meantime, ensure you have the personal results turned on by reviewing these steps:
- Make sure you connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi or link it to the same account as your display.
- Open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
- Tap Home settings > Google Assistant or Gemini for Home voice assistant > Personal results.
- Follow the in-app steps.
Then manage the task notifications:
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap Home > All devices, then touch and hold your device's tile.
- At the top right, tap Settings > Recognition & sharing > Recognition & Personalization.
- To turn on notifications, first turn on personal results.
- Choose how personal results should appear.
- To turn on notifications, tap Show proactively.
