Hello @Iannisbet6,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to view the live feed from your Nest Hub Max camera, especially with your holiday coming up. I understand how important it is to have your home monitoring set up before you leave, and I'm here to help you get this resolved.
To help me understand what's happening and provide the best support, I need to ask you some questions. Please provide as much detail as you can.
Did the built-in Nest Cam work before?
When did the issue start?
Did you attempt to factory reset your Nest Hub Max after discovering the camera offline issue? If yes, were you able to successfully set up the built-in camera again?
What LED lights appear on your Nest Hub Max's display? (e.g., solid green, solid red, flashing white)
What is the firmware version of your Nest Hub Max?
What is the software version of your Google Home app?
In the Google Home app, check if "Home monitoring features" are turned on for your Nest Hub Max. When you enable them, do they turn off by themselves?
Once I have this information, we'll proceed with some troubleshooting steps. Please try these steps and let me know the outcome of each one:
Make sure the Nest Hub Max isn't in Privacy mode.
Check if the camera privacy switch on the back of the Nest Hub Max is in the off position (not covering the camera).
Reboot the Nest Hub Max.
Unplug the power cord from your Nest Hub Max.
Wait for about 1 minute.
Plug the power cord back in. Allow it a few minutes to fully restart.
Force close the Google Home app on your Android phone.
Go to your phone's Settings, then Apps, find Google Home, and select Force Stop.
Wait for 5 seconds.
Reopen the Google Home app.
Remove the device from the Google Home app.
In the Google Home app, tap the Nest Hub Max device card.
Tap Settings (gear icon) in the top right.
Scroll down and select Remove device, then confirm Remove.
Factory reset the device and attempt to set it up again.
On your Nest Hub Max, press and hold both volume buttons (up and down) on the back of the display for about 10 seconds.
The device will then prompt you to confirm the factory reset. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Once reset, attempt to set up your Nest Hub Max again using the Google Home app.
Try streaming the built-in Nest Cam.
After setup, attempt to view the live feed from your Nest Hub Max camera again through the Google Home app.
Please provide your answers to the probing questions and let me know the results of each troubleshooting step. This will greatly help in diagnosing the issue.
Regards,
Kevin
