Google Home Mini not working, won't factory reset

One of the 3 google home mini's I have just stopped working. It displays 4 white lights constantly.

I've tried:

- unplugging it overnight

- factory reset button

- unplugging 11 times

Nothing works.  It's in the same room it's been in since it was set up. You can't get any closer to the wifi (same room). It's the original power source. I've also tried using the power cable from one of the other mini's with the same results. Wondering if there was a recent update the screwed up just this one mini

I’m also having this issue. I’ve tried every solution I’ve seen and nothing has worked so far. Hoping on a fix asap

Hola buenas, me pasa lo mismo con un Google Home Mini (1 gen). He probado todo, reiniciando 11 veces y pulsando el boton de reset. Debe ser alguna actualización que solo ha afectado a este dispositivo.

I agree I think it was an update that messed things up. Sadly it will no longer connect to the wifi so even if they fix what the update broke I don't see how our units will get the fix 😞

Same problem here. Also 1st generation. Planned obsolescence?

Thank you Wilson123. I have checked and it has all updates. All 3 of my mini's have the same firmware/software versions.  I have reset my router.  The unit itself is not damaged and I've tried using the power cord from the other mini in this one and this one's power cord in the one that's working and there are no issues with the power cord.

Unfortunately the mini is stuck with the 4 white lights and does not respond to anything thus I can't connect it to any other network. I've tried factory resetting it using several methods and none have worked.

Two of my Google home minis started being zombies like this since 3 days ago. They don't reset. 11 times unplug instructions didn't work either and I'm using the original power plug. Nothing changed. Reset the wifi still the same issue. Following this thread ... Hopefully a fix comes out.
