Google Home Mini won't turn on at all

Google Home Mini suddenly stopped turning on even when connected to power. It still receives power, but the unit doesn't turn on with all 4 dots like it is supposed to (the reset button lights up one green dot when pressed and connected to power)

My apologies for the delayed response here. I know how challenging it can be, not having a working device when needed. Let's dig deeper. 

 

  • How long has the device been in use?
  • Was the device in use before the issue occurred (Yes or No)?
  • If Yes, what was the device used for? (broadcast media, play music, etc.)

Please try theses steps below that may help us fix the issue:

 

  1. At the side of the Google Home speaker, unplug the power cord and wait for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in and wait until the 4 LED lights up on top.
  2. Repeat the first step, 10 more times.
  3. After you plug the power cord back in the final time, wait for the device to reset. The device announces "Welcome to Google Home" to signify that its ready for setup.

Let me know if that works.

I'm so sorry, gmail for some reason identified the email updates as spam so I didn't know someone responded. As for the tips, I have done everything to try to revive it as said in the forums before. However, my Google Home Mini is still unresponsive, when plugged in, the 4 LED lights do not light up, only one green led lights up when I press and hold the reset button.

 

The Google Home Mini was working before, and was plugged in, before it suddenly stopped responding to my commands. It was used mainly for its Google Assistant, and occassionally for media playback

I am still having problems with the form, the same error still pops up, is there any way, the process can be started with just the information from this thread?
