Google Home Nest Hub Smart Display is stuck on grey screen with G logo - Factory reset not working

My Nest Hub is displaying a grey screen with G logo. I've tried the following, but has made no difference. (I am using the original adapter that it was packaged with)

  • I've placed the device in Recovery Mode (unplug the device then hold down the volume button while plugging device back in. Release the volume button once the device turns back on.)
  • Attempted a factory reset once the device boots into Recovery Mode (hold down both volume up and volume down buttons at the same time.)

None of that worked. Still stuck on a grey screen.

Can you please assist.
