Google Home & Mini Saying Music Unlinked

My Google Nest and mini speakers are not playing music. I have had Apple Music linked to the account for over 2 years. Recently I am getting a message that says “your account is no longer linked” …When I go to my google companion app, it says my Apple Music is linked. 

Any ideas on what I need to do?

Did you try to unlink and link again? Do you see any change?

It will not allow me to unlink. The message says I am unable to unlink because Apple Music is my default.

@sieber1416, you can unlink your Apple Music account in the Google Home app by following this guide: open the app > Select the Add icon at the top left > Music > Choose No default > Unlink Apple Music. Go through the same steps to relink your account. Visit this website for more information.
