Google Nest Audio Speaker Bluetooth connection dropped and won’t come back

hi I was connected previously to my Bluetooth speaker from my iPhone using Bluetooth. I placed the nest audio speaker into pairing mode connected successfully until the nest stops playing audio and I tried to reconnect but no matter what I do I cannot see the speaker in my Bluetooth settings anymore

That can happen sometimes. Try forgetting the Nest Audio in your iPhone’s Bluetooth settings, then reboot the speaker by unplugging it for a minute. After that, say “Hey Google, Bluetooth pairing” or enable pairing mode in the Google Home app. If it still doesn’t show up, a factory reset usually fixes it.

Hi DBrown,

Thanks for posting in the community! I understand that you're no longer able to see your Nest Audio in your iPhone's Bluetooth settings after it initially connected and then stopped playing audio. It's certainly confusing when a device you just connected to suddenly disappears from your Bluetooth list. I'm here to help!

To find the best solution, I have some questions for you:

  • When did the issue start?
  • Are there other nearby Bluetooth devices turned on?
  • Can your iPhone connect to other Bluetooth devices just fine?

I appreciate your input, @Anna18.

Please keep me in the loop!

Sincerely,
Juan
