Google Nest Audio stopped working

My Google Nest Audio (2 speakers, 1 group) has been working flawlessly. Three days ago, tried to stream music from internet radio, but all of a sudden Google Home said there were no devices. I decided to start from ground zero. Reset both speakers to factory default; deleted the HOME setting on the Home app; unplugged power from the router (D-Link wifi6 mesh network), reconnected power; waited for all products to be powered on; I turned one of the speakers off, and started with speaker #1 (all components remained in exactly the location as when they were working - ie: same distance from Mesh satellites). I set up a 'new' HOME; The Nest Audio speaker was 'found' by the Home app, but when connecting to wifi I got a prompt saying: 'Dining Room speaker may be connected, but it can't communicate with your iPad, turn on Local Network and Try Again'. Okay, I did that four times, even moving the Mesh satellite closer to the speaker. Nothing! How come this system doesn't retain setup stability and keeps disappearing?
