Hi all,
after having the Gen.1 I now changes to Gen.2.
Especially very usefull with sleep sensing.
But, I have a very awkward issue.
I tend to set my volume on 1 (which, to be honest, if laying in bed, is still too loud) when I go to sleep.
I play "latest news" and "music for 10 minutes".
In the morning, when I have my alarm, the sound is like a tsunami and mostly switched to 3 or 4, which is way too loud.
This does NOT happen every night, but at least in 75% of the cases.
I think it might be a bug, but if not, is there any suggestion about this problem please?
Thanks in advance
Davy

Hey DavyC,
Appreciate your quick response. To confirm, do you mean the alarm volume is different from the actual volume of your device, or do you notice that the volume of your device automatically switches to a higher volume? If the issue is isolated on alarm volume, please note that you can adjust it from the Google Home app.
Follow these steps below to know-how:
Let me know how it goes.

Dear Muddi,
thanks for your question.
I don't have the issue with my Gen.1. I only have it with my Gen.2 device.
Best regards,
Davy

Dear Muddi,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Assume following: you go to sleep and ask the hub to play music for 10 minutes. Manually I change the volume (at the back) to 1.
Waking up with an alarm is then VERY loud. When looking at the volume at that moment, it is on 2 or more. So, during the night, the volume seems to be changing.
But, I did not know about the "alarm volume setting". This was indeed set to a higher volume in the app. I have changed this now to a lower volume via the app.
Now I need some time to test off course, starting on Monday morning.
I will keep you posted.
Thanks again and have a nice day.
Davy
