Google Nest Hub Photo Frame plays albums that are not selected

The Photo Frame part of my Google Nest Hub does not seem to be working right.  Here is what's happening:

I say "Change Photo Frame."  I choose GOOGLE PHOTOS.  I select one album that I want to see. Then I select DONE. The photos showing in the frame are not from the album I selected.  It still shows albums from previously selected albums.  Even when I unplug the Google Nest Hub hoping it will "reboot," it still keeps showing photos from unselected albums.

I have Google Nest Hub Max.  I have about 50 albums in my GOOGLE PHOTOS. All my albums appear on my google home app on my phone. I have selected All albums on the home app on my phone.  Only 20 are appearing on the Google Nest Hub photo frame.  How can I show the other albums?

To assist you further, can you tell me what generation your Google Nest Hub is? I've found an article that talks about how to reboot a Google Nest display. 

Here are the steps on how to remove or add albums in the Google Home app:

• Open the Home app.
• Tap Favorites or Devices.
• Tap and hold your device's tile.
• Tap Settings, then Photo Frame, and then Google Photos.
• Select albums to add and deselect albums to remove.

I had almost the exact same problem. I wanted pics from just one of my 8 albums showing. No matter what I did photo frame continued to cycle pics from all 8 albums. I finally went to my google photos app and found the editing options I wanted and now my display is fine. Go figure. 😊
