Google Nest Mini / disable switch on sound

Hi Community

I have just purchased my first Google product - a Google Nest Mini.

Our family is overall very satified with the speaker, but one little thing annoys us all.

I have placed our speaker in the bathroom/toliet and whenever we turn on the light it also turns on the speaker.

After 30-45 sec it plays the startup sound. Is it possible to turn it off ? The sound is annoying when we have go to the toilet at night. We are awakened to the sound !

So it is plugged into a switched outlet? Give it power all the time, and it will only make noise when prompted.
