Google Nest Mini keeps disconnecting from WiFi.
It worked better a year ago.
Now half the time it says. Something went wrong.
I’ve tried rebooting, factory reset, moving to another location. I even bought a new WiFi router.
It’s still very inconsistent with connectivity.

I have the same issue with two nest minis. Used to work well, ( first 6 months or so ) done all the things you have and interestingly have a little google speaker on the same network which will run all day on radio or Spotify without dropping out and the same with the Tv on Netflix.
Interested to see if you get any helpful replies.

Well I saw that a new 2nd Gen was on sale for $14.99 at Lowes and I bought it. My original problem was with a Gen 1.
Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment and I’m throwing good money after bad.
But I will find out if newer hardware in Gen 2 helps.
I have not made any other changes.
I will report my results in a few days.
Happy New Year

I also have a 2nd Gen Nest Mini and have been having wifi connectivity issues non stop out of the box (it was a Christmas gift). I’ve seen reports that 2nd gen is even worse than 1st.
it’s completely maddening because at random points throughout the day it will connect and work just fine, then lose the ability to connect for no reason. It’s close to a wifi access point (Eero) and router software shows a strong signal. Other Nest Hubs in the house have no problem maintaining stable wifi connections.
This issue has been reported consistently for the last 18 months at least, and while Google eventually acknowledged the issue they’re no closer to being able to fix it.

So far so good with 2nd Gen Nest Mini. It's been about 4 days and we haven't had any WiFi communication problems or "Hmmm something went wrong" messages.

Hey folks,
It looks like we have come to a solution so I'm going to be locking this thread. If you have any other concerns or questions, please feel free to create a new thread.
Have a great day.
