Google Nest Radioapp failure AGAIN

Dasha1205

It seems Radioapp is again no longer working on the Google Nest and Nest mini. It’s the same fault as was reported last year. I have 3x minis and one standard nest and they’re all doing the same thing

Hi all,

Thanks for posting in the community. I understand the radio app is no longer working on all of your Nest Mini and other Nest Speakers or Displays, and they are all exhibiting the same issue with the radio. I know how concerning this may be since this is the same behavior that was reported previously. I appreciate the information you've shared. No worries, I'd be more than glad to assist you. To help with that, I have some questions for you:

  • What's your Nest Speakers or Displays firmware version? Please check out the following article to find your device's firmware version.
  • Did you link and unlink your radio service in the Google Home app?
  • What command do you use to play your radio station?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, could you list them?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Regards,
Jonathan

If you actually bothered to research and check you would see this issue is affecting EVERYONE using Google devices ! It isn't the first time this has happened, I'm in Australia we cannot link radio - everyone in your forums and on reddit are all having the exact same problem AGAIN it happens every time you do a firmware update , I've unplugged my device , factory reset and every thing in between , it's disgusting a company as big as Google continues to have the exact same issue and I can't help but wonder how many customers you've lost because of this CONSTANT issue , you fix it and we get radio only until the next update , I will be replacing all our Google devices it's unacceptable, if it happened once or twice I understand but it's constant and always down for weeks and sometimes months - second rate gadgets- we pay a lot of money for these devices and they can't provide basic functions . Goodbye Google you've lost everyone I know we are all switching to Alexa

This was caused by a Google update, they are aware of the issue and their estimation for a fix is...  mid November. Not kidding.
