Google Nest speaker group not working

Groups no longer work. I’ve reset multiple times over the past 6 months and finally it is not working at all. The individual speakers work, but no groups actions are working and I can’t seem to add / edit via Google Home app. This has been a terribly unreliable feature which is crazy because these little nest mini speakers are essentially meant to be paired.

I'm having the same issue but it will let me play a radio station on one speaker but not on group. Changed the group the speakers within the group.

The odd thing is it will play Spotify over the group?

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. A few questions: does it happen when you use voice commands, via casting, or both? What Google Nest speaker are we working with?

Hi mine is when you voice command but only when using a group. It will play the radio over each speaker but not the group.

It will however play Spotify over the group.

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. What Google Nest speakers are we working with? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? You can refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest speakers.

Both devices are nest minis. 

I have factory reset them both and made a new group but still the same outcome.

Thanks for trying that. The team is rolling out a fix for the Speaker groups issue. It may take a few days for the change to take effect, appreciate your patience!

Please let us know if you encounter any other issues. You can always do so by saying "Hey Google, send feedback" on a Speaker or Display.
