Google Speaker

I’ve come home after 8 wks away. Google speaker was left plugged in. It’s not responsive, I’ve looked in Google home and it says it’s not connected, try’s to connect but fails, I have unplugged it waited and plugged it back it and nothing, I’ve held the mute button for 15 seconds and still no lights or sounds. What else could I try?

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Nest speaker. Can you tell me what type of speaker you have? Is there any light on the speaker?

 

It seems that your device might be disconnected from your account and the internet. If the speaker has no light, a factory reset might be necessary. This will erase all your speaker's settings and information, but it can often resolve connection problems. After doing that, try setting up the speaker again using the Google Home app.
