Google assistant not allowing to use Apple Music

Today I have attempted exhaustively to play Apple Music on my Google Speakers like I normally do. Every time I asked it to play something it started something completely random and I have no idea where it came from. So I typed in the music I wanted into the assistant. If I don’t ask it to stream to my speakers, it understands perfectly and plays what I asked it to on my phone. If I then ask it to play on Google speaker, it then goes to the random music from some where. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi Rsinclair19,

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing while you are trying to play Apple Music. I understand how frustrating it can be when things do not work as expected. But don't worry: help is here. In this case, I just need to ask for some information to provide the best assistance:

  • Which speaker device do you have?
  • Where are you located?
  • Are you logged into your speaker or display with the correct Google Account?
  • Is your default music provider set up correctly in the Google Home app?

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,

Jenny
