Google home connection problem

mario89

Hi everyone, since the power went out some time ago both the google home and the google nest hub that I have in the same room have not been able to connect to the wifi anymore. I contacted both my internet operator and google support and we have not been able to resolve. Strange thing is that with another phone's hot spot they manage to connect. As a modem I have a fritzbox 7530. Can anyone help me?

Hi mario89,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out.

Something might have happened during the power loss where it affected the link between your modem and your Google Home and Google Nest Hub. Have you tried rebooting your modem, then your speakers? Restarting your phone might also help. What is the exact message when you're doing the setup? Since you also contacted Google support, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Keep me posted.

Best,

Dan
