Google home doesn't detect bluetoothh speaker

Hello everyone, 


I would like to stream on a chromecast 2 on my videoprojector while streaming the audio on my bluetooth speaker
(harman kardan aura studio).

 

I tried to add the speaker to the google home app but it doesn't detect it. Does my speaker need to be google home compatible? If that's the case is there any solution to make it so?

I have no problem appairing the speaker with my phone and can stream music alright.

Did you set your speaker in pairing mode?

Confirm that the Harman Kardon Aura Plus is in Bluetooth pairing mode (the Bluetooth button LED will be flashing blue). If the LED is not flashing blue, press and hold the source button until its LED begins to flash blue. 2. Use the device's Bluetooth pairing menu to pair it with the Harman Kardon Aura Plus🙂

Yes I tried with the pairing mode on, nothing still

@Guillaume1, thanks for posting. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. A few things: Which Chromecast device? Does your video projector have a Bluetooth capability? 

 

If you have the Chromecast with Google TV follow the steps below.

 

Pair Bluetooth device:

  1. From the Google TV home screen, at the top right, go to the profile picture or initial and select Settings.
  2. Select Remote and Accessories Pair remote or accessory.
  3. Make sure the device is in pairing mode or is visible to other devices.
  4. Identify the device the customer wants to pair from the list and select it.
  5. On the Bluetooth pairing request screen, select Pair.
