Google home speakers won't connect to wifi

Hi all,

I have some issue to reconnect my google speakers to new wifi.

I deleted them in google home and did a factory reset.
When i try to reconnect i can get connected to the speaker but i get the message that he cannot connect to the wifi. I have the same issue with my other google nest audio, 10 in total.

After this did all the steps that i can find on the internet but nothing worked.

Deleted my home
Deleted google home app
tried with other google account
Restart router and modem
Got the old wifi and router connected again for the same setup as before
Tried with second phone
Tried to work with mobile hotspot
Contacted support google
Only get 2.4ghz and only 5ghz
factory resets

Got also google chromecasts and doorbel and they connect how they should.

Is there something i can do?

I don't know how google itself connect to these, could there be a problem that they are deleted in my google home but they ar still connected to google.

Thanks in advance for your help 😉

Hi Jungle05,

Thanks for posting in the community! I'm sorry to hear that your Google Home speakers can’t connect to the new WiFi network. I'd be happy to help.

I also appreciate all the efforts you've been making to resolve this inconvenience. As you’ve mentioned, you're unable to reconnect your Nest speakers devices to the WiFi network. Could you please confirm if you have ten Nest speakers? If so, please share the specific models of them. Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.

Also, if you have a case number related to Google support, please share it if possible. This will help us track your case more efficiently.

Please keep me posted.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
