Google hub issues with multiple people

We have a Google hub at home and my wife is linked to our home.  We she ask to play music or the weather or anything related to location it doesn't work but when I do it does.  When I travel for work it also changes the time to the time zone that my phone is even though the hub didn't move

Hello Ianmac23,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

If you happen to set up both speakers using your own account and have added your wife's account as a family member or vice versa, you most likely see the personal info of who set up your device. Always make sure that the voice match is set up to both of you, as well as personal results. Here's the steps on how to do it:

With the Google Home app

Android iPhone & iPad

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings and then Google Assistant and then Voice Match.
  3. The app will show you all devices that support Voice Match. Tap a device to enable or disable Voice Match.
    • If you don’t have any devices with Voice Match enabled, tap Get started and follow the in-app steps.
    • To turn on Voice Match automatically for new devices in the same home, turn on Devices you add later.

With your Google display

Set up Voice Match directly on your Google display. You’ll need your phone and access to your display’s screen.

  1. Say “Hey Google, learn my voice” to your display.
  2. On your display, tap Let’s go.
  3. Select your account on the display. A push notification will be sent to your phone asking you to confirm whether it’s you trying to sign in on a new device.

Note: If you don't receive a notification:

Android: Go to Settings And then Apps & notifications And then [All apps] And then Google Play services, and check that notifications are enabled. Then, you’ll need to start setup on your display again.

iOS: You may have notifications disabled. Open your YouTube, Google, Gmail, or Google Smart Lock app to check if the confirmation prompt has appeared. You’ll signed in to one of these apps on your phone for this to work.

  1. Tap Yes, it’s me to confirm.
  2. Follow the steps on your display to complete Voice Match setup.

Once you've set up Voice Match on a shared speaker or display, your linked music and video services may be accessible to someone else who speaks to your speaker or display using relevant voice commands. The user who set up the speaker or display and linked their voice is also the first person who set up Voice Match.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Princess

How do I add my account to my mom's Google home so that I can change the wellbeing settings to allow webpages?

Hi treespirit,

You can ask your mom to invite you as a member to her home.

Regards,
Alex
