Google keeps saying “there was a glitch” or “something went wrong, try again in a few seconds”

I now have 2 google devices. 1 google home and the other a nest which I just got. Within the past two months my google home won’tdo anything when I ask it to and continues to say something went wrong or there was a glitch or I have to ask it 3-4 times before it does what I want it to. I got a nest thinking maybe my first device was old and it is doing the exact same thing. I’ve factory reset them multiple times as well as my WiFi router. Now I am experiencing my music just stopping randomly while connected with Bluetooth. What is going on?

Hi, I’m here to say the exact same thing is happening with ours. We got two new ones that I have been trying to get working for 24hours. I’ve factory reset each about 10 times, re setup multiple times and it does the same thing. I hope we get some answers because I’m about to return mine to the store if I can’t get it working.

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting. We apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. What is the distance between your Google Nest speakers and your Wi-Fi router? Have you been experiencing internet outages recently? You can set up your devices using another network to isolate it.

I look forward to your responses.

Regards,

Juni

I’ve figured out my problem is the Nest mini doesn’t work on my network providers 5G. I have had to change to NBN.
