Google mini (gen 1) won’t update

My google mini stopped responding so I followed all instructions for resetting. It connects and everything appears ok but when I say “hey google” it tells me it’s not set up.  I can’t get it to work. Help!

@Cinnbear, have you already tried performing a complete reset? Let's go ahead and try that and see if this would make any changes on its behavior.

Hey Cinnbear,

To eliminate network issues, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Home Mini). Once done, check your device will have the same behavior.
