My Google Nest Hub and Nest Mini don’t understand me.
Checking the activity on my Google Home app shows that the recognition is about 50%
I live in Dubai which I think is the main reason
* I have my Home and Home Mini device address and Home/Work locations set to US.
* Payment is to a US address
* If I use the voice search on Google Search App (not Google Home app) on my iPhone it doesn't understand me either,
* If however I use a US/Australian/UK VPN it understands me just fine, leading me to believe that it expects a certain accent or language, even though my iPhone, App settings, language and location's are all set as US
As VPN's are blocked here, running a VPN on my router is not an option.
Anyone have any ideas what I could try?
