Hi all,
I've recently purchased a google nest hub 2, installation went well and the unit works ok for few minutes but after that it doesn't get orders anymore. It activate itself when I say "hey google", it recognize it is me (my face come up on the right corner), but no words come up on the screen. The three prompt stay on the top left screen for few seconds and then the unit says "uhm, something went wrong, try again later". Sometimes it also says "there was a glitch".
I've tried all the solution suggested on the web:
This is the second unit, we returned the previous one because we thought it was broken, but clearly it is something wrong with the house. Please note I can confirm the unit is connected to wifi.
we have 2 other display units from Lenovo, and they all work fine. Two speakers with google assistant but I've muted them.
I'm stuck!!!!

Same problem here. But I have the first version of nest hub. It has worked fine for years, but the last weeks I only get the "something went wrong". Restarted it several times, disconnected it and reset to fabric. Works once, and after that it only returns the error message. I can controll all my units from the app, but not by voice.

Hi All. We have the same problem here. I have read all the post of on this forum and can't come to a concise solution to solve the issue.
I have the Google Nest wifi 3pack and another google home mini.
I've tried all the suggestions provided in these forums but same issue. It solves the problem for a day or few hours and then the same "there was a glitch" error message comes up again!
It is extremely frustrating to be doing this back and forth. The google ecosystem has worked for 2 years and a few weeks ago this started. Extremely frustrating as I can see posts from 2 years ago with the exact same problem and no solution.
What can be done?!?!

Hi folks,
Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. If possible, try to set up your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen using another network and observe if you will get a different experience. Lastly, could you provide us with your device's firmware version? Check out the steps below on how to get it:
Thanks,
Juni
