Google nest hub media alarm Australia issue

Hi guys, 

I have had a 2nd gen google nest hub for a while now and have not been able to set a media alarm. When I try, it says 'since I can't do that on this device yet, I have gone ahead and set a normal alarm' etc.

I have factory reset the device, made sure my devices are linked to my YouTube premium account etc.

I am able to set a media alarm on my lenovo device without an issue. I see that others have had the same issue in Australia but I can't find a fix.

Please help.

I have exactly the same problem since the beginning (purchase on November 25) in France. I requested Google support by Chat, the technician made me reset my Google Nest Hub 2, but without success.

I received an email response that said, "I invite you to try setting up a clock radio on Nest Hub from a custom routine."
OK, it works, but I miss the functionality of the Google voice assistant ...
