I was using Spotify through the nest mini speaker earlier today, and I rely on it to sleep by playing white noise, now I can't connect to the nest mini at all. I have done all of the suggested steps (wifi reset, nest mini factory reset, reinstalled the home app, etc) and the nest mini will go through the setup in the home app but afterwards I cannot connect to it. There was no issue at all prior to this. I'm also using a Google pixel 8a, brand new 2 days ago.

After spending a few hours yesterday and a few hours today trying to get the home mini to do anything and after spending more hours following every tip, video and convoluted help center run around...I've given up. I threw the mini in the garbage and ordered an echo dot, gen 5... google is in the trash where it belongs.

Im having the same issue on my2 mini's, I have factory rest both and added them back but after finishing setup the mini's when asked the time or anything theysay install the google home app to continue

Im running the latest version of the app, Im using an android, I have 2 mini's and 2 nest displays and only the mini's are doing this, I did uninstall the app and reinstall but made no difference, rebooting the wifi did fix the issue but only for a few hours then they both started saying they were not setup yet.

Thanks as for now I have both mini's unpluged, I even tried installing the google home app on an old phone and setting up the mini's through it and had the same results, so untill I hear back from you my mini's are just paper weights
