Google not broadcasting anymore

Having issues with broadcast on all home devices. It asks for the message makes the beep then nothing. I was doing a work around and saying a random word before my message and that was working. Now nothing. I think part of issue is Google trying to use a Google voice to say message and its broken.... Please help this is stupid and it use to work fine... Google stop changing stuff.

I'm experiencing a similar issue with my Google Home and Nest devices where longer broadcast messages are not coming through correctly. For example, a simple broadcast like "Test" works fine, but when I try broadcasting a message such as "Come downstairs, it's dinner time," I only hear the notification sound, and the message itself doesn't come through. This is quite frustrating since I relied on this feature daily across my three Google Home and two Nest devices. I would appreciate any assistance or a fix for this problem.

Or seems to me that when Google tries to use the default voice instead of a human voice it doesn't work.

Same for me, but I have recently discovered that when this happens it's broadcasting tekst to my nest hub.

I've had the same issue for a few days. The broadcast notification plays, but no message are played.

Same here. I rely heavily in the TTS generated broadcast automations - and it stopped working lately. It was working for the past 2 years.

Hello,

I have 2 Google Nest Mini and 3 Google Home in use.
Broadcasts are no longer transmitted.
I say “Hey Google Broadcast” and then the text to be broadcast to all devices.
I get the message “Broadcasting” and all the other devices just beep and that's it.
I had this problem last year. Now again.
Is there a solution for this? Apart from turning your back on Google for good and switching to Alexa?
It's getting annoying. I now have expensive electronic waste here at home that I can't use.
Is there anything else coming from google?
