I subscribe to YouTube music, and when I tell my Google nest speaker to play next track it says "OK playing the next" this is so annoying
This does not happen on my Google mini's only the nest audio speakers..
I have reinstalled Google home and restarted the speakers as I use them as a stereo pair and still the same
System firmware version: 384934
Cast firmware: 2.58.384934
Could anyone check there's or advise how to stop this as well..

I'm getting the same result with my Home Maxes, and it's been happening forever. Any news about this?

Update on mine is that i have 2 x mini speakers upstairs and they work fine when saying next.
I have 2 x google nest speakers downstairs which are setup as a pair (stereo mode) and it always says "playing the next" when i say next song or anything like that.
If i separate the speakers and use them as one only it works fine, it seems like its only when they are in a stereo pair mode

Ok then, mine are in a stereo pair. Thanks for the update.

Same here -- various devices answer "playing THE next" when you say "next"

Tbf....think its pointless having a forum community as google never sorts any issues out....
Totally waste of time
