Helllo,

Why the group tab volume dissapeared from Nest Hub 2? 

Another update to downgrade google home?🤬🤬🤬 WTF Google??!?!!?

Sorry to hear about what you are experiencing right now with your Google Nest Hub. Can you tell us when did you notice these changes? 

 

Also, let's try to reboot first the Google Nest Hub by simply unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes. Let's check if there would be any changes on its behavior after that.

Did that, nothing changed. Is this related to the group volume issue that Google does not care about? 

Im starting to feel sorry for the money spent an all google devices that I bought.

Please give me the right answer and not cover the indiference for all the users from Google side...

Can you tell us the cast firmware version of your Google Nest Hub? 

 

To check the firmware version:

  1. Make sure the mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as the Google Nest or Home device.
  2. Open the Google Home app .
  3. Tap the device card of the preferred speaker or display.
  4. At the top-right, tap Settings Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under Technical information, find Cast firmware:X.XXX.XXXXX.

Lastly, let's perform a complete reset to see if this will resolve this. Let me know how it goes.

Complete reset to hub and all nests already done - nothing.

Nest Hub firmware - 299498.

Can you also check the Home app if you see the option to control the volume? Also, when did you notice these changes? We'd like to take a closer look into this.

In the android home app the group volume slide also dissapeared.

This happened few days before I started this topic.....
