HELP: Google Ass’t + Bose Portable Smart Speaker + Apple Music

I’m trying to use Google Ass’t to control Apple Music on a new Bose Portable Home Speaker and the Ass’t will acknowledge my request but then nothing happens. 

Thanks for any help / suggested fixes…I’ve tried all the fixes I’ve found online (unlinking/relinking Apple Music as the default, etc).
