Harman/Kardon Citation One not activating with Device Utility

I am trying to set up a Harman/Kardon Citation One Speaker in my living room. This is not the first one I have owned as I had one with a ln ex girlfriend and I like it so much purchase one a while ago. 

I launch the Home app it discovers the Citation One but requires a little more set up and I instructed to download Device Utility app. 

It states I much active the Citation One with the Device Utility app but fails to activate. HELP ! Very annoying as I didn't have any issues with the last one

Hi. I used my friends phone and it successfully connected. Not sure why but it's all working now
