Having trouble with alarms going off at the wrong time

I have several devices in my home, one device in particular always has alarms go off 2hrs after the time they are set to go off.

I've reset the device, and it still does it.

I'll tell it "Set an alarm for 5am" and it goes off at 7am or "Set an alarm for 6pm" and it goes off at 8pm. When I ask the device what time it is it always has the correct time, or if I ask what time the alarm is set for it will say the time I set the alarm for.

the odd thing is when I tell it to "Wake me up in an hour" it will set an alarm for 1 hour from now and that will go off at the right time. it is only an issue when I want to set an alarm at a specific time does this issue arise

Check that your Home address is the same in your

  • Profile > Home Settings in Early Access Google Home app or Settings in original Google Home app
  • As well as in Assistant Settings > Your Places

Yep all have the same, correct, address

I should have added that this didn't fix it

Asking your speaker...

"Hey Google, Where am I" should confirm your location.

It responds to that with the correct location, the location also does not ever have daylight time so the timezone never changes

When you set an alarm does the correct alarm time appear in the Google Home app?

Set an alarm in 5 minutes.

My alarm goes off 1 hr earlier than when I tell it to, even though the time is right when I ask it the time on a Google Home mini.

You said you "reset" the speaker, but was that a turn off turn on situation, Reboot via the Google Home app or a total Factory Reset?

A Factory Reset is the most drastic action you could take to resolve this and should fix it.
