Having trouble with the Nest audio pair

Hanschae
Community Member

I am using two Nest Audios in a paired setup.

When music is playing and I give another command, the music volume lowers so the command can be heard. However, when I give a command to turn off the lights, the lights turn off, but the volume doesn't return to its previous level.

After that, I can't adjust the volume through the app or the device touch controls in any way.

Hi @Hanschae!

Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience that you’ve been experiencing with your two Nest Audios. I can see that when you are playing music on your devices and you ask something of the Google Assistant, then the device lowers the music audio to listen to the command, but after that the volume is not coming back to its original level, and you cannot get it back through the Google Home app or using the buttons on the device. No worries, help is here.

To better assist you, I need some extra information. Here I have a couple of questions for you:

  • Does the issue occur when using a specific music service?
  • Have you tried restarting the devices?
  • Have you factory reset the devices?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

I’ll be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Daniel.
