How do I enter in my own custom recipes?

Hello!

I would love to use the cookbook tool in the Google Nest Hub, but I seem unable to do so.

I cannot open my cookbook without any recipes already in there. I want to add recipes from physical and published cookbooks that I have so I can't really add them to public websites for everyone to share, and trying to add them privately seems to not be helpful as I cannot log into any of these websites through the browser.

Using cookmate seems to no longer be an option and thats really disappointing because it seems perfect for what I need.

The only apps that I can find that work with google all seem to be lightbulb based and thats also not very helpful.

How can I add my own and custom recipes to Google Nest Hub 2nd gen?

I understand that you want to maximize the use of your Google Nest display, especially when cooking. Right now, you can find and make their favorite recipes using step-by-step instructions from the Assistant on Google Nest and Google Home speakers and displays.

On smart displays, you can get recipe recommendations based on your Web & app activity in other Google products. If you don’t want to get recipe recommendations, learn how to manage personal results on your shared devices.

To hide a recommendation or edit your dietary preferences, tap Description .

Also, you can choose recipes from the following partners. Additional partners not listed below are also available.

I actually can't find my favorite recipes via the Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen because they are not digital and I want to add my own recipes to it.

Hello there,

Adding your own recipe to the Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) is not supported. As an alternative, you can check if you can add your own recipe to one of our cooking partner providers and save it as your favorite recipe. Please note that you can access saved recipes on your smart display and in your Google app on Android. 

To access saved recipes in your Google app, open the app > tap More > Collections. You can also find your saved recipes online at Google Collections and ask your Nest display to show your saved or favorite recipe by saying, "Show my saved recipes." Visit this link for more steps.
