Thanks for your post. I understand the importance of having your microphone on so that you can use voice commands. I would be more than happy to help.
First, I have a quick question. Which Google device is this post in regard to?
For Google Nest Hubs and Google Nest Audio, there is tab on the back of the device. If you switch it back so that you do not see the orange, then the microphone will turn on and your device will say "The mics back on."
