I Can’t Do That Here

I see another user has the same issue today. I listen to LBC everyday but this morning I keep receiving the same message ‘I can’t  do that here but you can ask me to play it on one of your other devices’. Also tried rebooting but no joy. Is it a glitch? Any advice please?

This is happening to me too, today. Ive seen a post where the command 'Play LBC UK' is working but I've not had the chance to test this yet.

Still receiving same message this morning when specifically requesting ‘play LBC’ but if I request ‘play Global Player’ it plays LBC News!! If I request presenter by name, it ‘has looked for eg Nick Ferrari on LBC but can’t find it or stream it’. Bizarre.

Thanks for bringing this up. My apologies for the late response here. I understand the feeling when you can't listen to your favorite news station. A few questions: what is the specific Google Home/Nest device you have? What country are you located in? What is the firmware version of your speaker? Does the same issue happen when you use the Google Assistant app on your phone?

 

I tried asking my Nest Mini to play LBC news, it acknowledged the command then played LBC news from Global Player.
