Hello thanks for reading this,

My Google screen/home is doing something I believe called "screen reader" but I don't have WiFi and I'm out all day but I can't get rid of it with no WiFi (I know how to get rid of it)

Hi there Lizzieisslay

I understand you're stuck in a bind trying to turn off screen reader mode on your Google Nest device without WiFi access. Unfortunately, since most accessibility settings are managed through the Google Home app, you'll need a stable WiFi connection to make the change.

Without WiFi, you can't connect to the Google Home app, and therefore can't directly access those settings on your Nest device itself (with some limited exceptions on some models). So, waiting for WiFi is the most reliable solution for a permanent fix.

Once you're back online you can follow this article on Google Nest Hub Display Accessibility settings.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Angel.
