I have two households but only want to broadcast to one of them.

So recently I bought my parents a Nest mini to use in their house. They’re not technologically inclined so I set it up with my account and they ask it questions whenever they need.

I’ve since moved out and bought two of my own Nest Minis to use at my new residence for me and my girlfriend.

My issue is that I would like to use my google assistant to broadcast to my girlfriend when im coming/leaving home. But whenever I broadcast using my assistant, it says it is broadcasting to all of the google devices listed on my account. That means, my girlfriend does get my message, but my parents do also.

I do have my devices sorted in the google home app by House 1 (me and my girlfriends house) and House 2 (my parents house). Is there a way to deliberately and only broadcast to House 1? Specifically when I’m broadcasting using the assistant from my phone/Fitbit watch.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the frustrations that you're having with the Google Assistant, I'm happy to help.

I would suggest visiting our Google Assistant Forum and writing to them there as this is a question that they would be able to help answer.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

Thanks, will do
