I want my nest devices to stop telling me they're doing things, and just do them!

OK, before I start, those labels are ridiculous:
* Product - It applies to all of the ones I have, why am I being forced to pick one?

* Platform - None, I'm talking to my devices

How does Google keep getting UX so, so wrong? Why are you making mandatory selections which force my post into a narrow bucket when it's not feedback for that?

My issue is that I really, really want my devices to stop telling me that they are doing things rather than just, you know, doing the thing I asked it to do:

* Stop telling me you're stopping the music or ambient sound, just stop

* Stop telling me you're skipping to the next track of music, just do it

* Stop telling me that you couldn't turn off one light out of the 5 in a room, I don't care, just control the ones you can reach

How hard is it for Google to add an option to not voice confirmations for everything?

And who at Google decided to add more voice confirmations? The first two things on that list it never used to do, but now does. Who asked for more talking back? You're making Google Home less and less pleasant to use as time goes on.
