Inactivity timeout

Nonay

I just got a nest 2nd gen smart display. It's kinda cool, but...

If I call up a recipe, then wait a bit (10 min) it defaults to a clock screen. It generally takes more then 10 min to cook dinner. Also, I have to search for the recipe again as there is no history button. A real PITA.

Can I set the timeout to 1 hour (or more) or better yet infinity?

Thanks, Mark.

Hey Nonay,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen). Let me help you with your concern.

A few questions:

  • Does it have the same behavior as before?
  • Does it happen to all recipes and cooking partners?
  • What is the current firmware version of your Nest Hub (2nd gen)?

To help us get a better picture of what's happening, do you mind sharing a video?

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi
