JBL Playlist not able to receive cast from BBC Sounds

JBL Playlist 150 speaker no longer plays music cast from the BBC Sounds app. Firmware is outdated and no updates available.

Same goes for music cast from YouTube music.  First and last JBL product I ever buy

Hi Jake, JBL is still sitting in the corner gathering dust. The latest version of Chromecast is not backwards compatible and JBL have not intention of updating the firmware. Thanks for asking.

Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. Just to add, it is best to reach out with JBL support so they can further help you with your speaker as we are more focused in supporting Google Home and Nest speakers and display.
