Just started having this issue a few days ago. I noticed it after I sent up a security key on my account. The google home app is showing the correct information. Should I just do a reset?

Hello Fredrick, I am sorry to hear that you are having a similar issue. Yes, could you please try a Factory Data Reset?
A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings.
Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.

The factory reset fixed the problem! Just be sure to remove the old device after you complete setup. Take care.
