Look and Talk stopped working on Google Home Max

Look and Talk stopped working after a couple of days of owning Google Home Max. All settings are where they should be.

Many topics describe this issue but none offer a clear troubleshooting path.

 

Did factory reset twice, all the settings are ok. Showing wavy dots, but never responding to my request.

Exact same issue !! worked for a day or so and then stopped. All settings are turned on. Did a factory rest once , still not working . Dots in the corned appear when I look but it never responds to anything I say unless I use the Google word. ANY ONE have an answer !

Hi everyone,

 

We appreciate your efforts doing those steps. Let’s try to retrain your voices. Open the Google Home app > Settings > Google Assistant > Voice Match. Look for “Teach your Assistant your voice again and then retrain. Reboot your Google Nest Hub Max, then check if the Look and talk feature works now. If the issue persists, get its System firmware version: swipe up from the bottom of the display > Settings > About device.
