Low Volume On Paired Nest Audio Speakers when casting Spotify

timwscott99

Hello,

I paired two Google Nest Audio speakers. They work great when asking Google questions, but the volume level drops considerably when I ask them to play music even when they say their volume is high. When I unpair them and the play then as a group, their audio levels are fine. It only happens when they are paired. I bought the second speaker so I could always keep them paired for stereo sounds, so I really would like to resolve this issue. I've done all the basic troubleshooting (reboots, unpair, re-pair, etc) and haven't had any luck.

Hi Jeremy - I'm using Spotify, and the volume level displayed in the app and in Google Home for the paired speakers is higher than actual audio being played through the speakers. Again, this is only an issue when the two speakers are paired. The audio levels with Spotify are fine when they are played together as a group.

Hello- I already tried this and it didn't solve the issue. The speakers work fine independently. They work fine when in a group. The issue is when they are paired  together.
