Media controls duplicated over and over

Why is this a thing now? Every time I'm streaming a radio station my android phone just has a load of repeat controls over and over. What have you done Google?

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about this situation. No worries, help is here! Please try the next troubleshooting steps:

1. Delete the App's cache in your phone settings
2. Uninstall the Google Home app from your phone > Restarting your phone > Install the Google Home app again

as expected, both of these steps made absolutely no difference. 

And as for "sending feedback", why bother. Literally sent hundreds over the years and not a single thing has ever changed.
