Media pauses on devices when streaming Nest Camera

Looks like this is a known issue and I have Sent Feedback.  I plan to send feedback constantly until this is fixed.   I am posting again as I work from home and want to watch my security camera for security.  I also like to have music or tv on in the background but can no longer do both.  Whenever I stream my camera, all other items shut down.  This is unacceptable!  When can I expect an update?  When I send feedback, what happens with it?  Do more people need to send feedback so they can move this issue up in their backlog?  How many sprints will I need to wait before this is worked on?  I am a software engineer myself so I understand there is a process to things but your "business"/"customers" deserve an update.  This issue has been going on for 2 months now!
